  2. This time, thanks to Gabriel Martinez.. he caught the killing of Max on his cell phone... and the HDPD will be held responsible for their brutal actions and response, and be fired and put on trial for murder of an innocent animals.. Laws are going to change to make sure the ALL ANIMALS ARE TASERS, MACED, PEPPER SPRAYED BUT NEVER SHOT WITH LIVE ROUNDS OF BULLETS.. ANIMALS CANNOT SHOT BACK..other states and countries have adopted laws to do this... California and Hawthorne Police you are next....

  3. This video makes me sick. People like this should not be examples of the community. I see police break the law daily...literally every day there is one speeding, running stop sign, or parking in handicap zone so he can buy his slurpee and chat with the female vendor. Salmon should be stripped of all his retirement and benefits as well as his 'job' if you want to call animal murderer a job. I'm not going to lie, if this situation ever was to happen to me...they better be prepared to put a bullet in my head as well. I will gladly serve the rest of my life in prison for avenging my dog. So come meet me and mine Salmon.

    1. Btw thank you so much for this page Christina - is there any contact information for Mr. Rosby himself? Email or or address to write to? I feel horrible for the man I really do and feel like I should send him something personally. No point in going after the crooked police, I'm sure wannabe officer fish will be out on the streets harassing again in no time.

    3. Ethan, I'm so sorry for taking so long to reply... I usually communicate with everyone through FB, and didn't expect so many comments on this blog... I just really wanted to give life to Max's story, because it has forever changed my life and my outlook on many things, and I wanted other people to know... We can't change the world in one day, but having our eyes open and creating awareness is a good start...
So Ethan, if you are still interested in contacting Mr. Rosby, he's very active on FB... By now, he's put together a "Justice for Max" team and they are fighting for animal rights and against police brutality...
Here is Mr. Rosby's page: https://www.facebook.com/leon.rosby...
And thank you so much for your comments... I really didn't expect so many people to comment out here... It feels good knowing that many of us are touched by this story...

  4. I wrote to the D.A. asking her to drop Rosbys charges and bring charges against Salmon and hopefully termination of his contract.

Ms. Lacey has overseen the development of several groundbreaking crime-fighting initiatives within the office. They include the nation’s first Animal Cruelty Prosecution Program, the Graffiti Prosecution Program and the Project Safe Neighborhoods Gun Prosecution Program.
The nations first animal cruelty prosecution program! Ok this bodes in our favor!

    1. Hey "pitbullgirl65",

First of all, I'm truly sorry for not replying to your comment earlier. If you read my most recent post, maybe you will forgive me...
Since I'm on this page today, I would like to thank you for your comment and for your actions. I know that it's very much belated, but "better late than never".
Thank you very much! It means a lot to me that people see this blog and care enough to read it, to comment and in some cases (such as yours) to actually take actions!
Thank you again and I hope your good karma catches up with you if there is ever a moment when you truly need it!
